This time of year I get pretty insane with my nutrition and fitness regimen. Within these last few months, I have been more determined than ever. Im at the ripe old age of 20 now.
I recently got out of a long relationship and it is really a good thing that I did. The sacrifices I would have had to make in order for that relationship to work, would have caused my career to suffer. That is the one sacrifice I was not willing to make.
I have gained a lot of insight from my mentor who I have worked with for a very long time. She taught me, "That no matter what happens in your personal life, your career is the one thing that you will always have." I have the utmost respect for her and I believe she has been the most influential person in my life thus far.
With Pilot Season just around the corner and work picking up a lot lately, I have really been marketing myself more than ever.
Lately, I have been contemplating going back to L.A.or trying another market like Dallas or NY. Recently, I spoke with Brian Sloane,an amazing photographer and wonderful friend, about updating my portfolio with an arsenal of photos for me. Oh, and did he ever do that!
Brian is my go-to guy for pictures. I am also a photographer. When another model is shooting with him, Im in the shadows studying everything he does. He is just a brilliant artist and it really shows in his work. I think it shows in my work also, just from what I have picked up from him. He is like my Obi Wan Kanobi with the camera.
I train so hard that it can really take a toll on my body. As I talked about in my last interview, I wanted to be a Navy SEAL my entire life. To this day, I still work out like one. In a typical week, I run about 30 miles (no more than 8:00 per mile). Then, Ill hit the gym later in the evening.
As I said before, I do not do a whole lot of weight lifting. I focus mainly on plyometrics (push-ups, dips, pull-ups).
Since Im an actor and I dont want to get too much size on me, I stick with those activities.

This training regime is what Arnold's book recommends to achieve the Greek God physique. Its very true. (I also encourage anyone that runs a lot to sit in an ice cube bath for at least 10-15 minutes afterwards to prevent inflammation.)
Halloween is probably my favorite holiday. I definitely look forward to it the most every year. Mainly, because you dont have to go pick out presents for people.
But even better, for all of us fitness models, it is a great excuse to dress up in some ridiculous and revealing outfit and we can show off all of our hard work to everyone.
Im not being ostentatious
Im just being festive.
I have to be honest though, Im not a big party animal. Im usually the D.D. at every party. But, I think that it is a very healthy thing to do once in a while. But IF
and only IF it is done the right way.
So in closing, today I made a 5 step program on How to party the right way to ensure that from now on, everyone has a safe, healthy, wholesome good time.
