Ryan Gordon, who has captured the looks of more than 800 models, chats with Edward Carl about finding the comfort level to produce great photos.

Ryan, a California based photographer, considers each of the models with whom he works a friend, and stay in touch with him long after their shoot. Ryan also offers advice to young models and touches on some of the dishonesty in the industry.

Leighton Stultz, who in the short space of six months has become one of the most sought after personalities on the scene today, reports that he has just signed up to appear on the cover of four romance novels, starting in June 2007. Move over Fabio! Here comes Leighton!

And there is much more happening in the very active life that Leighton leads as he reports on his summer of 2006 that took him back and forth across the United States, with a weekend in Montreal, Canada, too, for a change of scene! Jiri Borkovec, the incredibly talented young bodybuilder, returns to Connex247 to share the story of his first place win in the 2006 Bohemia Junior National Bodybuilding Competition. When Connex247 editor Mike Morris opened the email with pictures of Leighton Stultz and Danie Yssel from photographer Thomas Watkin, first he thought of Walt Whitman's marvelous poem 'We two boys together clinging' and then he phoned Leighton to marvel at great length (as he usually does) at those things that arouse his passion for the metaphor.

"I have been collecting metaphors all my life," Mike said, "even when I didn't have a clue what one was. But I knew when I saw Tom Watkin's photos that in these shots of Leighton and Danie the metaphor lives and breathes, alive and well."

Chris Lancaster accepts the reality that he may have to sacrifice to reap the rewards he wants from a career as a model, but he is used to it, having been a competitive athlete since he was five years old. Now, as he tells our Edward Carl, with a family that supports him 100 percent, he is turning his attention to a new challenge.
