Edward: Welcome back to Connex247 family again Levi! Give us some updates on your career. How you were selected for DNA cover model?
Levi: Hey! It's nice to be back! The career front is going well. Since we last spoke I have finally launched my own web site, www.miamilevi.com, and I have become a certified personal trainer. I will actually be posting fitness routines on my blog.
I can't say that I was "selected" for the cover of DNA or anything. David Vance just sent in some of my pics and they must have liked them, because the next thing I knew I was on the cover!!! ...lol I did an interview with them for that same issue so I was able to interact with some of the guys. They are all really nice and easy going.
Edward: Levi, in your previous interview you told us that you modeled for A&F but why did you decide on a career as a male model model
Levi: ummmm....it isn't exactly what I decided. It just happened. I was working in a local store and some guy came up to me telling me I should model and that he wanted to introduce me to a good friend. I was polite but didn't think anything of it. I actually just thought he was hitting on me...lol. He was very persistent over the next couple of months, and then one day he called his friend and handed me the cell phone.

It was Bruce. (I actually had no idea who he was at the time...shhhh). I did a little research and then went to his house to test. It just took off from there. My first test shoot with him wasn't really with him. I showed up at his place, met him, but he had to run so I ended up shooting with his assistant.
Edward: As a model, you have the opportunity to visit such different places and cultures. Tell us about a special place you´ve already been.
Levi: One of my favorite shoots was actually here in the United States. We shot in the Adirondacks. It was so beautiful up there. We took a private plane in and then drove to a lake. Once we were at the lake we jumped on boats and went out to a secluded island where we stayed for the next week.
It was like a private little compound and there were 8 models including me. Four guys and four girls. I also shot in some really great locations when I was living in London. It is an amazing city.
Edward: Fashion Model, runway model, print model and all the media, paparazzis, celebrities. How do you face this whole modeling world?

Levi: How funny! You really think I have a problem with stuff like that?? You give me way to much credit. The only time I came close to celebrity status is when I was traveling through China and people just assumed I was someone important because of my height and blonde hair. It was really funny actually, and scary at some points.
Edward: We currently live in a body-conscious society where people have a strong desire to be in good shape. How important is physical appearance toward a successful career? What other attributes make a successful person?
Levi: I believe that your physical appearance is very important, although it shouldn't be. There are too many employers that hire beauty over skills and knowledge. For me being healthy is more important.
I believe when you are healthy and you feel good about yourself it reflects in your physical appearance and the way you interact with others. As far as other attributes for successful people...the ability to communicate successfully and self discipline.
Edward: Are you a guy into sports? What do you like to do in your free time?
Levi: I like sports, but I never grew up playing them. My parents focused on other things instead. I like traveling. I love it. Going to new cities and understanding different cultures is exciting for me. Otherwise, when I have a free day here at home I am content going to the beach or just working on the yard.
Edward: Levi, thanks again for sharing your story with us. A final word for visitors around the world
Levi: A final word to your readers around the world, eh. I wish I could say something in multiple languages, but the only other language I speak is Spanish. I guess I would just like to thank them for being so nice to me. Whenever anyone has emailed or contacted me they are always so kind and supportive. It's very cool. It still amazes me to when I receive an email from someone else in another country. I'm like, "How do they even know I exist?" Thanks again for everything Edward. You're a great guy!
