Edward: Welcome to Connex247 family Levi! So, tell us about yourself, your hometown and your personal interests.
Levi: I am originally from a small town in the Rocky mountains in Utah. My parents still live there; It's an amazing place.
I am currently becoming certified as a personal trainer with NASM because I love the fitness and want to help make a difference in my own family. 30 percent of Americans are obese, and I'd like to help reduce that percentage.
Edward: You are now a FORD Model. How did you get discovered and how was your first test shooting?
Levi: I walked into the Ford Miami office when I first got to Miami, and they signed me right away.
One of my early assignments was for Abercrombie. I modeled for Abercrombie for a number of years, and had many other campaigns.
Edward: What do you think about the modeling world? Which fashion campaigns you´d like to work for and why? What aspect of modeling is your favorite and what is your least favorite?
Levi: The modeling world is interesting because you learn that there are a ton of very insecure amazing looking people, which doesn't make sense, but it's true. I especially love the travel.
I have liked some of my department store campaigns, like the one I did for Kohl's Department Stores because the work is dependable and the photography is enjoyable.
I also love the magazine work I've done. I'll be on the cover of the next DNA magazine (July 2007) and will be in Playgirl Magazine in a few months.
Edward: What would u say is the key of the success? In your opinion, what are the upside and downside of a modeling career?
Levi: The only key to success I know of is hard work. For the downside, see the next answer.
Edward: I´m sure you might have some unusual/funny backstage stories. Share some of them with us.
Levi: I don't know about funny or unusual, but I worked with a very well-known photographer for quite some time doing multiple campaigns, etc. He would always try to push the envelope with me and one day he finally pushed too far.
He was taking underwear and nude shots of me, which was fine because he was so famous, but I literally had to stop him and make him get off his knees in front of me. I left. He hasn't been near me since. I later learned this is not so unusual in the business.
Edward: What do you like most when you work with a photographer?
Levi: I love when we are finished and they are excited to see the pictures. You can tell when they got the shot they wanted and that is the most important thing to me.
Edward: Are u a fashion guy?
Levi: Yes. I would love to do Dolce and Gabana/ D Squared. John Bartlett. They are my favorite designers.
Edward: What do u like to wear when u are not working as a model?
Levi: Speedos.
Edward: If you could select 5 amazing places around the world, which ones u´d choose?
