Leonardo:  He he, it is so difficult to describe myself, but I will try. I believe that I have been a dreamer since I was a child, and I have always liked to know even more and more about things in a very spiritual way yet temperamental and multifaceted.

Although I was born in Arkansas USA, I was raised in Venezuela and I can tell you that Venezuela is a country full of wonders from its natural beauty to the warm personality of its people,

My family is made up of my father, my mother, two sisters, an aunt and three dogs. he he he I think  I am very lucky because God could not have given me a more beautiful family. They are my foundation and my top. 

Edward:  You have such a terrific background! Singing, Acting, Dancing and most recently, modeling! How did all these vocations arise in your life?

Leonardo:  I was only 13 when the famous Salserin group manager saw me and he wanted me in the group. I joined the project. Well, after 3 years of fun trips, concerts, a million of bad and good experiences I decided to leave the group to begin to deal with this world as an individual artist. 

With the group I had the opportunity to participate in several dramatic auditions and to be the main character of our own youth series that was broadcast in some south american countries.

After leaving I was in several projects such as radio, television actor, and TV animation and in that process emerged modeling, which is becoming my favorite hobby after being named “Great model of Venezuela” 2007-2008 and also the best male face. That´s how  I´ve become involved in fashion world

Edward:  You also have worked for social campaigns like “Against HIV”, “Breast Cancer”, just to name a few.

Leonardo:  I love working for the community and in my country I have been in several campaigns among the most famous are campaigns against HIV “Acción Solidaria”, http://www.acsol.org, and the breast cancer prevention events http://www.senosayuda.org.ve

Edward: What do you think about modeling  and how´s the modeling market in Venezuela?

Leonardo:  For me modeling is my favorite hobby as my career goes somewhere beyond the runways and photographs, I think a complete artist must be versatile, that is something I can get along with because I have experienced several areas.

The fashion market in Venezuela has much potential, we have designers, photographers, producers and models with such great talent, I believe that even though we live in a growing country we need to give more strength to this movement.

Edward:  How do you rate beauty and elegance for your life?

Leonardo:  They go entirely by hand in my life even though they are not the only important things. I can not say they don’t help in this career

Edward:  What do you like most when you work with a photographer?  I´m sure you might have some funny/unusual model backstages stories.

Leonardo:  I think a photographer should be easy to build a friendship and a mutual trustworthy relationship because it will be easier to have a successful outcome.

I like when they show me my pictures as we are working on.  He, he,he I do have a thousand fun moments. I will never forget the day the show was late because we left the keys inside the dressing rooms with all our changes!

Edward:  Are you a fashion guy? What do u like to wear when you are not working as a model?

Leonardo:  Yes, I think I am something like that.  I love fashion and  like to change all the time.  How do I dress? He, he, he  I think it just depends on how I feel at the moment, my clothes will always reflect how I feel.

Edward:  What´s fame and success for you?

Leonardo:  Fame and success are two different things.  For me being famous is simply being named and known by crowds, the success is much more complex and complete.

To be a successful human being means to be an complete person, happy, not perfect but knowing about your errors and taking advantage of every one of them and also the virtue that we were granted to achieve internal harmony

Edward:  Leonardo, thanks so much for sharing your story with us. Final comments.

Leonardo:  Well at this moment I am studying acting and photography in my country but my immediate plan is going to prove success in a bigger market, trusting God to be established in another country by August. 

For now I think it will be Mexico but let's wait and see what happens, I think all I have done is just the beginning of my career.  Like I always say  “ THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING , THE SKY IS MY LIMIT “.  A thousand blessings and a Happy New Year 2008 for everybody.
