Edward: Joseph, my friend, welcome back to Connex 247 family again!! And I gotta tell you that it´s one of the most awaited moments of Connex247. It´s a 'OHHHH YEAHHHH MOMENT!!" So, let´s start it up. Joseph, are you an optimistic person? Do you think we now live in a better world concerning issues like human rights, sexual behavior, religion, family, friendship, human rights and environment?

Joseph:  I am neither an optimist nor a pessimist. I am whatever I need to be at that point in time. I can be hopeful and hopeless, it all depends on what is going on in my life. I would like to think that we're making advancements in human rights but I'm almost concerned that we are now living in a LESS moral society.

Joseph SayersPeople are experimentally sexually at younger ages, more drug abuse and misuse it going on and starting at younger ages, and religious effect is diminishing. On the other hand, STD transmission has plateaued and most city crime rates are down. I'm not going to get into the politics of it as I could wear out the keys on a keyboard, but I feel that we have made some advancements but there is still a long way to go.

I feel that we've come a long ways from the way that things used to be. I cannot provide enough insight meaning how I'm only 23 years old, but I've noticed a lot of changes even since I was a child. I do not agree with the drop in moral values that are especially visible through television.  I remember when it used to be frowned upon when some said "ass", "bitch", or "shit" on TV... now you can even hear it in commercials.

Joseph SayersSexual behavior has not changed but it's more casual to discuss one's patterns and the content of a sex life. Human rights? Do such things even exist anymore? If so, it appears that barely anyone is practicing them.

Edward:  Fans around the world have been reading about you, following your steps.. How do you handle this whole modeling media, the paparazzis, etc etc.

Joseph:  I am fortunate enough to not have to handle it. I'm a regular person. I do the same things that everyone else does. I've met people that are "fans".  They don't scare me. I personally don't feel that I deserve fans. I haven't enacted enough change or attained enough social status to effect large amounts of change.

Joseph Sayers

Edward:  And talking about fans, just imagine a situation: You are anonymous in a crowd. Nobody notices you. Then all of a sudden, a fan approaches you and reveals to others that you are a model from a popular fashion campaign. The excitement takes over and the crowd gets wild. How would you handle it?

Joseph SayersJoseph:  I can't even imagine a crowd going wild, but if they did, I'd handle it well. I would be like Tom Cruise for the premier of THE LAST SAMURAI. He stood out there for five hours and tried to get to everyone. If they wanted my autograph, I'd try to give it to them without developing writer's cramp. I'm very appreciative of acknowledgement but I don't require any special treatment.

Edward:  As a model, you have the opportunity to travel a lot. Share with us some of the most fascinating places you have already been.

Joseph: I haven't traveled that much. I went to Europe to wrestle when I was younger but that was the extent of that. Most of my work is done right in NYC. Would I like to travel? Of course, but not until my life settles down and I can appreciate my surroundings. I hate traveling for business.  You're always on another person's schedule. I'd prefer to be on my own time.

Joseph SayersEdward: What do you do in your free time?

Joseph:  I'm not that big on travelling. I like to relax at home. With my free time I usually do my homework or review for an exam. I don't live a very exciting life. I do the usual in my down time. I eat junk food, watch movies, and take naps. I'm really pretty average.

Edward:   Are you a guy into sports? Whats your secret to be in a good shape and what´s the part of your body u like most and why?

Joseph:  I don't have a part of my body that I like the most. It all needs work. I am the last person you should be asking about fitness. I haven't worked out in two months and I look the same. I know that I was blessed with remarkable genetics. I just do kick boxing and extremely high rep but low weight training.  Circuit training works the best but it's the most frustrating. I plan on getting into jogging again, but with school, I just may not find the motivation with my focus being set on another thing... like maintaining my GPA (which is at 3.86 with about a semester left before I finish)

Edward: What are your favorite models (male and female)? Is there any model u´d like to work with?

Joseph Sayers

Joseph:  My favorite male model is Larry Scott from Aqua Di Gio. Female model?  Hmmm... I don't know of any of their names. I honestly don't invest a lot of my time in knowing the names of people in campaigns. All I know about the campaign is that they did it and I didn't, they got paid and I didn't.

Joseph SayersIt isn't a big deal, though. One door closes and another door opens.  Modeling was a stepping stone for me. I grew up fast, and I had to, living out in NYC at a very young age. The fact that I had to mature and I had to become not just older but wise has had a HUGE impact in various aspects of my life... family, friendships, school, work, etc...

Edward: I have some quick questions that Connex readers would like to know about u. Please, answer them and tell us why.

Joseph:
Eating: Fish or meat?
Meat for SURE. Fish doesn't fill you up like a medium rare cheeseburger or steak.

Joseph SayersVacation: Beach or the mountains?
I like the beach because I like the sound of water and crashing waves but I can't stand the humidity nor the heat. Mountains are nice because they have smoothing running brooks, streams, and rivers with lush foliage and beautiful landscape. I would say mountains but it's never gets very warm. So, I guess I'd say beach... wait... mountains... no! BEACH... no! MOUNTAINS....

Fashion campaign: clothed or underwear?
I feel that underwear is a little bit more iconic but I am envious of my friend's, Chad Nitler's, Giorgio Armani campaign. is just as good.

Movies: Action film or romantic ones?
I prefer dramas. But if I have to pick between action and romance, I'll pick a good romance.

Dating: ask or get asked?
Doesn't matter. Who cares how it happens as long as you end up with the one you want to be with? I'm very shy, so it's hard for me to ask BUT I've never been asked, so I guess I can only answer from the asking side of that question.

Place to make love: at home, in the middle of a crowd, in a party or on a paradisiac island?
   At home.

Sports: Group or individual ones?
Individual. I was a wrestler, remember?

Music: Rock, classical, R&B, Hip HOP...?
Classical r&B and motown. I like maltshop type music.

Politics: Democrats or Republicans?
I'm not affiliated with a political party, but if I was, I'd be a democrat.

Way of travel: by train, plane, ship or bike?
Plane... it's faster but I hate flying.

Best season: spring, summer , autumm or winter
   WINTER!!! I love Christmas.

Joseph Sayers

Edward:  Joseph, thanks so much for being with us. Your Connex 247 fans hope to hear from you again and again! Your final comments and take care cause….. U rock!!!!!!

Joseph Sayers

Joseph: Honestly, thank you for keeping my name on your lips. I sometimes feel forgotten, but I have a lot of other interesting and challenging things going on in my life. I am not out of modeling but I'm taking a break from it for now. I may return and give it another and more earnest shot, but right now, I feel that advancing my education is the best investment that I can make.

I still have a project in the works. It's very exciting but it has been put on the back burner since my latest and highest priority is school. I'm doing quite well and maintaining a respectable GPA and I plan on completely my bachelor's degree and applying to medical schools for the fall. I appreciate all of the support over the past 5 1/2 years of my career. Thank you very much!!!

written by P Dunlow on August 13, 2007

I acutally just discovered Joseph July 2006 a friend of mine sent me a picture and I was an instant fan, I love how modest and just normal he is, and about to finish college with a bachelors thats awesome, I agree with liking the Winter the best I love Christmas too :) I have to admit honestly one of the best looking guys I've ever had the pleasure to look at no matter what the pose from candid personal pictures to sexual poses, serious to fun the camera loves him and so do we, I am definetly a fan honestly I don't care for too many models most look all the same, Joesph has a certain look that grabs you and makes you want more, I could never grow tired of looking at him sounds cheesy but its the truth. I work out religously, and seeing a beautiful body as Joseph Sayers has keeps me motivated and yes genetics has a lot to do with the amount of effort you have put into yourself I have to say God Bless your parents what a beautiful man they created!

Take care Joseph best wishes with every endeavour. Your honestly a great role model.

Geez, I messed up my own zip code in that last post! It's 79904. Thanks again. And again, you're like a bowl of Campbell's Soup: Mmm mmm good!

Hot...AND smart! Just what the doctor ordered.
written by Joseph Gonzalez on July 29, 2007

Hi, Joe! I've been a fan for a while, but your intelligence has greatly added to your sex appeal. I now share four things with you: 1) a first name, 2) a college town (I went to Columbia), 3) a career goal (I want to be a surgeon or an anesthesiologist...dreading the MCATs!), 4) and a desire to travel someday. We may never meet, but I'd still like to be the first: Would you like to go out for a medium-rare cheeseburger, a good movie afterwards, then a walk on the beach, and...if everything goes well...a great night of sex at home with Bach in the background and candles around the bed? It's just a dream, but I can be an optimist too. If you can, please send a postcard from NY (I collect them, and would really appreciate your autograph): 8949 Robert Drive #2, El Paso, TX 799904. Thank you, and good luck in school!

Most of these photos look new, at least ones I haven't seen before. It would be great to know the photographers and campaigns. Is it all quite recent?

I honestly haven't been following your career as close as other's may have but I did catch some of it. I was somewhat at odds about your exposure in the beginning It's good that you came out on top. Congrats on your study so far and best of luck with your future plans.

Appreciation
written by Joseph on July 17, 2007

I want to apologize for stripping the glamour out of the industry. A friend of mine read the article and called me almost in tears from laughing so hard as to how basic I kept it. I'm a very simple person and a very real person just like everyone else. I appreciate all the support and encouragement that I've received over these 5 years (yes, it's been that long!). Without the people that actually take interest in knowing the mEn behind the photographs, I would've disappeared a long time ago. So thank you so much for taking the time to interview me (connex...Edward), and thank you for taking the time to read my story (all of you). I will try to keep things exciting!

-Joseph
