Edward:  John, bring us up to date .

John May:  Well, you can find out most about me from other bios I have done and posted on several websites, (connex247 in the past, mostbeautifulmen.com and others) but a very short summary goes something like this; I was born in San Francisco and lived there until I was about 5 when my parents got divorced. 

I moved around a lot after that between mom and dad and ended up being raised mostly in a small town north by the name of Novato. 

Joined the armed service, got an honorable medical discharge after a mishap, came home and started modeling in San Fran again and now I live in the city.

Edward:  And how has your career been going?

John:  I recently got the cover of Playgirl magazine. I also shot for Fitness for MEN magazine and a Tonix sports catalog recently.  There are a few other projects and a lot of photographers but nothing much other than that as of lately.

Edward:  And how about staying in shape?

John:  I recently found out that my gym routine was perfect all along... I hit every muscle in every way.  My problem was my diet and drinking... quit drinking and change your diet and you'll be fine lol.

Edward:  How do you feel about glamour and beautiful pople?

John:  Well, good looks always come first in the industry, but, even if you're god's beautiful gift to the world to look at, if you have a shitty attitude no one will want to work with you. 

Be respectful to others the way you'd want them to be to you and always remember those that stayed by your side through the goods and bads.

Edward:  And the old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words?

John:  Well, yes because you can pretty much imagine a thousand different things that could have been said about the picture, but, what does it matter what the pictures worth as long as it sells?  I was always told attention, whether it be good or bad, is still attention.

Edward:  What do you look for in working with photographers?

John:  Just that they respect me as a person and individual and never cross lines with me.  I am working WITH them not FOR them.

Other than that they need to be kind and patient people.

Edward:  Share a funny moment in your career.

John:  I think the fact I'm in Playgirl is funny enough... I'm naked lol

Edward:  And the importance of fans?

John:  Fans are the most important people because they are what make or break you... so always treat them like a boss almost lol.  Kindness once again is a virtue.

Edward:  What if you were suddenly surrounded by fans in a frenzy?

John:  Smile, deal with it, and move on.  How else... I'm not a superstar or anything so just be kind and patient and when you're done and need to leave or if you're on a busy schedual to begin with just explain that and walk away.

Edward:  Your philosophy of life?

John:  Sure why not... I don't usually care to get worked up over stuff.  So many people let stuff get to them and get away from them, just chill and enjoy life.  It's as simple as it sounds.  Life is as easy or difficult as you make it.

Edward: Final Comments

John:  Thanks for having me and being so good to me over the past year.  I hope to only grow more successful in modeling and one day break into acting.
