Edward:  Hello Jeff, welcome to Connex247 family. Well, just to start it up, tell us about yourself. What are your personal and professional interests?

Jeffrey: Well, I like to write fitness blogs using my own style of comedy on my website.  I love to make video clips too!  I made/produced my own workout DVD over the summer and I really enjoyed that!  I’m finishing up my college degree at the University of Utah in Exercise Science.  I enjoy personal training as a professional interest as well as modeling.  I like to let my personality shine through when I am doing a photo shoot!  I like to use a variety of different expressions and do crazy pictures!  I don’t always have to have the sexy look in my photos!

Jeffrey BeckEdward:  What would you say is the key of the success? In your opinion, what are the upside and downside of a modeling career?

Jeffrey: The key to success through my eyes is being able to look at myself in the mirror at the end of the day and say I am happy, regardless of how much money I make.  My dad is an auto mechanic who doesn’t make a lot of money, but he is the most successful man I know because I never once saw him come home without a smile on his face.

The upside to modeling is it’s fun if you are into it.  You get to meet a lot of interesting people and see beautiful places that I otherwise would not have been able to without modeling.  The downside is that there are a lot of sharks in the water and you have to be careful with whom you work with.  It’s also very demanding!  You need to be in great shape all the time, but I like to work out so it really isn’t that big of a deal!

Edward:  Do you think you have already achieved your main purposes in the modeling market? If not, which modeling agencies, fashion campaigns and designers would you like to work for?

Jeffrey BeckJeffrey:  I haven’t quite achieved everything that I have set out to do in the modeling market.  I would like to work with Calvin Klein someday (even though I do spoofs about it on my website!) and various other underwear companies.  I want to be on the cover of Muscle and Fitness too.  I wouldn’t mind doing a high fashion show or photo shoot, but I think I am too short and too muscular for that!  I want to have a fitness show someday.  As far as agencies go, I’m not hung up on any.

Edward:  I´m sure you might have some funny/unusual model backstages stories. Share with us some of these moments.

Jeffrey:  When I was on a photo shoot in San Diego a few years ago, there were a couple of photographers working in this little studio that they rented by the docks with a couple of models doing nudes.  I had just finished my job and I was waiting outside with everybody else.  I guess there was a family reunion going on in one of the other places by the studio.  I saw two older women walking around like they didn’t know where to go.  They ended up walking into the studio where the photographers and models were.  I immediately started laughing when I saw them run out of the studio with their eyes covered!  I wish I could have seen the looks on their faces when they saw those naked models!  I wish I could have seen the looks on the models’ faces too!  I gave the two models a hard time the rest of the weekend!  I’m a stickler for good comedy and that was the ultimate!

Jeffrey BeckEdward:  Are you a fashion guy? What do  you usually like to wear when you are not working?

Jeffrey:  Hell no!  I wear sweats most of the time.  When I am at home, I always put on something comfortable.  When I go out, I will put on some nice jeans and shirt, occasionally.  Sometimes, I like to walk around in my birthday suit!  That’s not an open invitation to come spy on me… or is it?

Edward:  What´s your secret to be in a good shape? What´s the part of your body you like most and why?

Jeffrey:  Making sure I get to the gym everyday is a key (as I sit here eating a doughnut while I’m doing this interview! LOL!).  Seriously though, I combine weights with cardio to keep in peak condition.  I usually spend an hour and a half a day in the gym.  My favorite body part is my ass!  I don’t mean to sound cocky, but you could bounce quarters off of that masterpiece!  It’s full, hard, round, muscular… oh, sorry! Sometimes I get carried away!  I also like my calves too.  Good calves are key to having a well rounded physique!

Jeffrey BeckEdward:  Let´s talk about fans. How do you rate importance to them? Just imagine a situation: you are anonymous in a crowd. Nobody notices you. Then all of a sudden, a fan approaches you and reveals to others that you are a model from a popular fashion campaign. The excitement takes over and the crowd gets wild. How would you handle it?

Jeffrey: Fans are a #1 priority for me!  I always respond to fans when I get emails or just talking to them on the street or the gym.  I treat everyone with respect and I am appreciative of every fan I have!  I would handle a wild crowd by just going with the flow!  Smiling, laughing, letting them rip my clothes off… wait, did I just say that out loud?

Edward:  We have some quick questions that Connex readers would like to know about you. Please, answer them and tell us why.

Eating: Fish or meat?
Meat! I like steak and hamburgers because I’m manly (or at least I like to think so!). Certain fish is okay (salmon, halibut), but most of it is just disgusting!
Vacation: Beach or the mountains?
Mountains baby! Growing up around them, it has become something I need to be around. I like to visit the beach, but I don’t know what the big deal is (except for women in bikinis of course! Am I a pig or what? LOL!).
Fashion campaign: clothed or underwear?
Undies! I like to show off my body!
Movies: Action film or romantic ones?
I like both, but secretly I watch romance movies when I am alone… don’t tell anyone else about this, okay?
Dating:
I take a woman to the movie on a first date because I will find out if there will be a second one.  I put my arm around her and if she puts her head on my shoulder or takes my hand and feels comfortable, I know there is a connection.
Jeffrey BeckPlace to make love: at home, in the middle of a crowd, in a party or on a paradisiac island?
On an island or at home.  I’m a private person and I like it to be just me and my girl! I think it would be very erotic on an island with all the tropical fruit around… one could get very creative!
Sports: Group or individual ones?
I’m selfish in sports, so individual. I like to do things alone. I’ve won martial arts competitions and bodybuilding shows and individual basketball awards. I love to play team basketball too.  I have to take the game winning shot every time! I love to come through in the clutch!
Music: Rock or classical?
I like both, but I listen to rock more.
Way of travel: by train, plane, ship or bike?
Plane. I like to fly!
Best season: spring, summer , autumm or winter:
I like Summer and Autumn. I like to drive up the mountains during autumn and see all the leaves change color on the trees. It’s gorgeous!

I know Jeff and one of the things I appreciate about him is that he is as amazing in the inside as he is on the outside. Great personality and seems to follow the simple rules of say what you mean and mean what you say and don't make an agreement you are not going to keep.

It is great that he looks as awesome as he does but far more important that he is as awesome as he is.
