CONSTRUCTING 'PERFECT' BODY

Buongiorno!! This is Ivan coming at you fresh after breaking records on this site and I have you guys to thank for that, so GRATZIE!!!!

I appreciate everyone who decided to click on that link to see what I had to offer and hopefully I was worth it. They asked me to write a little summary of basically what I do, enjoy, and how I spend my time.

Well if you couldn’t tell my life revolves around exercise and nutrition but not in a bad way. Most people bitch and moan about dieting and lifting but I look forward to it everyday. It’s a great release from the stresses of everyday life, especially the stresses encountered working as a doctor. I know I have mentioned it before but check out my website, http://ivanrusilko.angelfire.com/ , to see how I am able to keep mentally strong when it comes to my health and fitness regimen. Anyone can build the perfect body, but it takes someone special to actually go through with it and construct it.

FAMILY IS PRICELESS

Enough of the health stuff. So what do I do for fun…...? Well the most enjoyable and relaxing thing I do is spend time outdoors hunting and fishing. I have hunted and fished for everything under the sun. Whether it is Buffalo hunting on the Great Plains or shark fishing in the deepest of seas, I love to do it all.

This also helps me bond with my brother and father, not to mention they like me paying for everything, ha-ha. So to answer the question I get asked rather frequently (What do you spend your money on?), I spend it on an experience that brings me closer to family which is in itself priceless.

ROKIN' OUT ON GUITAR

My second love would have to be rockin out on the good old guitar. I own several guitars which I use to jam out to songs like Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd and Free Bird by Lynard Skynard. Classic rock is a form of music that has unfortunately perished and doesn’t seem to be making a rebound anytime soon. The music had meaning back then as opposed to today’s music which instructs us to drop it like it’s hot or shake our ass. Don’t get me wrong I love watching women “drop it like it’s hot” and “shake that ass” so I guess they do serve a purpose after all, God Bless ‘em.

THE BANDS I DIG

The bands that I dig the most are Floyd, Petty, Young, Dylan, Buffet, and Skynard as well as more recent bands (my era) like STP, Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Dave Matthews. I compare finding good music to finding a good wife, love at first listen, you become enthralled with it, grow old with it, and every time you hear  it, it makes you smile.

THE WINE TASTER

Another joy of mine is tasting all the different types of wine this world has to offer. From the vineyards in Australia to the Rhine in France wine is proof that GOD loves us and wants us to be happy, I ripped that off of Ben Franklin but I don’t think he is going to raise a stink.

Tasting wine is like test driving cars, you can site in all the Minivans and Geo's you want to but once you sit your ass in that Ferrari, damn you’re hooked.

THE MERRIEST OF DRUNKS

I, myself, am more of a sweeter white guy like a good Niagara or Riesling,  ha-ha sounds fruity I know and it is. I do also love all the different flavors found in a good Shiraz, from black currant to pepper there all delectable.

I frequent wine tasting events quite regularly and always love trying new types but the problem is I never just taste so I end up smashed at the end of the night which is a good thing because I am the merriest of drunks! By the way, if you would ever like to hire a guest wine taster, LET ME KNOW!!

ADDICTED TO PHOTOGRAPHY

Painting and Photography are both great releases as well, I know I have a lot but that’s like saying I have too much money, not going to happen. I have been professionally painting for three years and making good money with it. I concentrate more on portraits because I find them more challenging and rewarding to do, examples can be found on my site.  Photography is something that I just started in and I’m addicted to. I hope to one day make it a professional hobby as well but that is a little harder to get started then painting, my photos are also on my website.

TICKLING MY FANCY

Well that’s me in a nutshell, everything that tickles my fancy! I find myself to be a rather well rounded person in all aspects of life. I try to have my finger in ever pie possible and find that the more pies I have my fingers in the more great experiences I am able to obtain. Life is nothing but a collaboration of good and bad stories; you had better hope that one side out weighs the other. So my advice is to take any chance that you come across to add to your collection because sooner or later the chances run out! Everyone makes a dent in this world, some are just bigger than others and I want mine to be the biggest dent out there.
