LOVE OF SURFING

Well, I grew up in a city called Belo Horizonte  but use to live in a island in the south of Brazil called Florianopolis, a beautiful place with 42 beaches. I moved to California a year ago. I’m also a screenwriter and I love surfing.

When I’m either surfing or writing I feel really connected to life, feel like I’m doing what I suppose to do in this life.

SECRET SHOTS!

Well, people always said I should model professionally, but I never really thought they were serious about it. One day I was walking with my board in Laguna Beach and this guy came to talk to me.

He asked if I want to be part of a contest to be part of a Calendar for Laguna Beach Men. I entered the contest and got second place.

I was kind of nervous before my first photo shoot. I remember I secretly had a couple of tequila shots before it just to relax (Lol); but after a little I felt very comfortable and had a lot of fun.

JUST STARTING

Well, I’m just starting my model career here so I’m still figuring how everything works. But I believe strongly that in this life we just need to do our part and things happen naturally when it’s meant to be and I’m positive that I’m doing my part.

INSPIRATION

I would love to model for D&G, Armani and also Osklen in Brazil (my favorite brand!).

BOARD SHORTS FASHION

Ha ha..definitely not a fashion icon here… I’m totally the board shorts flip-flops kind of guy! But you know; who said we can’t be fashion with flip-flops and board shorts?!… Lol

VERY VISUAL

I’m a very visual guy myself and I do think we can say a lot with an image. My goal is always to show more than the surface, putting my soul in what I’m doing.

SEA GRASS!

Well,  this one time in a beach photo shoot, I had to cover my naked body only with sea grass… Does anybody know how many flies the sea grass attract?? You won’t want to know! Lol

FINDING PEACE AND LOVE

I consider myself a realistic/optimistic person. I think mostly of world problems would be solved if we first look inside, trying to deal with our own issues and finding our inner peace.

We only can give what we have, we need to find our own peace and our own love, if we want a world full of that.. Regarding to my dreams,  I have several and I try to keep in mind that pursuing them should be as fun as accomplishing it.

LEAVING FOR ITALY

Well,  I’m leaving to Italy this week and I intend to do some modeling work in Milan. Meanwhile I keep writing my scripts and right now looking for a good agent. : )
