Edward: Hey Gregory, welcome to Connex 247 family! How do you describe yourself? Tell us about your hometown and heritage.
Gregory: As a boy, I practiced various sports during my school years, and also while taking my 3 years' degree in Physical Activity and Sport Science and Technology (STAPS) : soccer, athletics, motocross, judo, sailing, rock-climbing and so on. For the last three years or so, I have entirely dedicated my time to workout and race with an aesthetic end in mind, but also in order to build up a healthy, strong and robust body, reaching at the same time an amazing psychological well-being.
My aim is to give the people I coach technical and nutritional advice along with the necessary motivation to achieve success. Not only a sporty and energetic man, I am dedicated to everything I undertake, therefore highly motivated and determined ! I am also a true perfectionist who helps his clients to perform their different tasks and exercises so that their results are the best possible.
As an open-minded man, I can easily adjust to different personalities , sport levels and profiles. Youve understood, Im now the 23 years old most known personal trainer in Paris and all over the country. Read what say my clients http://www.gregory-capra.com/temoignages.html In addition when I have time free and interesting proposals I perform as a model. Have a look at http://www.gregory-capra.book.fr
Edward: You have such a terrific background! Personal trainer, a huge experience in all kinds of sports and most recently, modeling! How did all these vocations arise in your life?
Gregory: Sport has always been a pastime for me : football when I was a child, motocross when I was a teenager and now bodybuilding plus many other sports for fun. Its the secret of my well-being. Now I want to reveal it to more and more people thats why I became personal trainer. I came to modeling by chance.
Two years after I entered a gym for the first time in my life I said to myself my body is not ridiculous, why would not I win some money with it ?. At the end of August 2005 I had my first shooting. After some minutes I was fascinated by the camera. It was a true pleasure to work (and play) in front of a camera. This first experience gave me the envy to go forward. I felt in love of this job : modeling.
Edward: And talking about modeling, what do you think about modeling world?
Gregory: Modeling is a business for only a handful of boys and girls. Its a pity that many young people dream to become a model and then give their life this only direction whatever the foolish position it demands. People are mad !! They should go down to earth and avoid to waste time, money, health,
for modeling. Just profit by the chance
Look at me! To achieve my goals, because Ive not yet achieved all of them I just wait for opportunities. If this Connex247 can help me, its very good
Agencies
. I do not like them because
You know why ? They do not engage men under 61 like me !!!
Edward: Your are living in Europe now. What are the main differences you between the European and American fashion modelling?

Gregory: I think modelling in Europe and especially in France is on the slope
going downhill
Edward: Fashion Model, runway model, print model....Fans around the world have been reading about you, following your steps.. How do you handle it?
Gregory: I still have a normal life. I travel by train from Marseilles to Paris every week and not in first class. I use the subway in Paris , not the taxi
.
Edward: And talking about fans, just imagine a situation: You are anonymous in a crowd. Nobody notices you. Then all of a sudden, a fan approaches you and reveals to others that you are a model from a popular fashion campaign. The excitement takes over and the crowd gets wild. How would you handle it?
Gregory: I like to be recognized in the street. Its my pleasure. I sign autographis for my fans when they request one. Nevertheless I must admit that sometimes I have too many demands and its become difficult to survive !! I do understand now why stars are angry about their fans. I do not worry about facing a crowd
remember that I trained in martial arts plus athletics
it means I shall overcome and the escape fastly from a wild crowd !!!
Edward: You have already worked with some famous photographers and fashion campaigns. What do you like most when you work with a photographer?
Gregory: I do appreciate when there is a true exchange with the photographer when he tells what he expects from me, when he says how satisfied he is. I need that to be at ease and give the best of myself.
Edward: As an international model, u have the opportunity to travel a lot. Share with us some of the most fascinating places u´ve already been
Gregory: Nothing better than Provence for me !! Sea, sun, mountains
a bit like California !! Ive never had the opportunity to have shooting in countries facing great economic or political problems but I am very concerned by misery.
Edward: Are u a fashion guy? What do u like to wear when u are not working as a model?
Gregory: Most of the time, I only wear shorts. I like to be bare chest !!! If not, always sportswear
Edward: What´s fame and success for you? And if you could choose 5 most important things for your life and 5 amazing places around the world to have fun, which ones you´d choose and why?
Gregory:
- Provence for my family.
- Paris for my job.
- A gym anywhere for training.
- Mediterranean sea to swim and tan.
- Internet to meet more and more people.
- Green beans to eat daily.
- Dumbells for training.
- Motorbike for fun.
- Computer and mobile phone to keep in touch with the people I love.
- Nothing more !!!
Edward: Gregory, thanks so much for sharing your story with us. Before you leave, give us an update on your projects and your future plans and a final message to Connex 247 readers around the world!!
