Once again here are the Flex Coleman Fearless Four Picks on the NFL games with an added very special video feature. MIKE joins him for a little football

We are delighted with the overwhelming positive response received to the first video featuring Flex, aka Jason, and the welcome to connex247 created by MIKE.

Over the past week we have spent many hours working to ensure that we bring about improvements to the video experience, and we have tried to respond quickly to all suggestions. Jason and MIKE went to work and here is the result. They actually toss the football around on a field!

I am also delighted to be able to share the great news that MIKE will be presenting his video blog on connex247 weekly, joining Jason as a new regular feature. And folks, we will have even more surprises as connex247 evolves even more with an ever increasing eclectic mix of content.

As connex247 moves forward maximizing the potential of the internet to bring you applications of new media my friend Edward Carl, our associate director,  asked me, "How do you deal with it all?"

Well, it's easy really. Almost 40 years ago, my mother, suggested that perhaps I should leave school teaching after I ranted on about an Economics class that had done miserably on a test. I had just started teaching after several years as a daily newspaper reporter and editor.

Mom, who was a truly wonderful teacher, suggested that I should scrap my approach (or even leave teaching) and start where my students were, not where I was. I did change but that's another story.

Applying Mom's dictum, connex247 would never have been around for over seven years, had we relied on where I am. To use the old techie term that my great lab instructor the late Eddy Brown used on me when I was teaching New Media, "Mike, you are C prompt challenged."

All I have done, if anything, is bring some people together, and let them use their talents in a way that lets us tell stories, and hopefully bring people together.

There have been many over the years and I thank each each of them. Now Jason wants to do sports and MIKE brings his awesome creative talent on board. Thanks guys.
