DIGO PADOVAN working on 'Possibilities - My Journey'

CONGRATS DIGO: THE TOP STORY FOR AUGUST!!!!!!!!!

FINISHED IN LAS VEGAS  I recently finished a year and a half run in Toni Braxton's "Revealed" in Las Vegas.   I have just departed Las Vegas to start the first leg of my world wide hip-hop dance workshop, "the D-Tour".  I am dabbling in all kinds of creative pursuits lately – music, choreography, directing, writing…you name it!

SYNERGY The creativity and collaborative synergy that just FLOWED at those shoots was amazing!  That was something I had never witnessed or taken part of during a shoot – usually, you stand there and take direction from the photographer for hours, but working with Pedro (photographer Pedro Virgil) was so different.

AWESOME It allowed for a lot more interaction that was more fulfilling as a model.  He definitely had his own ideas and methods, but made sure I felt that I was participating in the photo shoots, as opposed to being a spectator.  He's just incredible and very easy to work with!  We did some magazine work alongside the book shoot – I had no problem agreeing to do so; he's so awesome to work with that they were a breeze!

AUDIENCES VARY I do enjoy performing, I always have.  And audiences very from place to place, completely.  There are countries where the reaction is more subdued (as in Asia, where they are more apt to be "polite") and then some places, in America for instance, where the reaction almost always overpowers what's going on onstage (which I love!).  It's no big secret that performers often rely on audience reaction to "fuel" them, the more you give the more you get…

PLANNING MUSICAL Also, pre-planning has already begun for my first stage musical, "Favela", in Sao Paulo!  I'm so excited about it.but I will tell you that it's a mix of hip-hop, traditional, and gymnastic dance set to a score that's a mix of everything under the sun in a multi-media spectacle and we're shooting for a premiere towards the end of the year.
