FROM OHIO My name is David Shutler, originally from a small town called Saint Clairsville OH...went to school in Erie Pennsylvania at a small private college called Mercyhurst College.

BRANCHING OUT I just started modeling about 3-4 months ago in June 2008 and really took a liking to it. I am doing it as a side job for now, trying to make it into some fitness magazines and then branch out into underwear/commercial/advertising and things like that.
VERY REWARDING I've had the opportunity to meet some great people and photographers so far...it is very rewarding to meet people that are as enthusiastic as yourself.
SETTING GOALS I've always been a firm believer in setting goals...and when people talk negative or doubt you it pushes me even harder. However, no matter what people say, I always make the final decision as to what I do in life and to work my hardest.
KEEP WORKING Short term goals include getting on a fitness magazine cover-long term making it into bigger and better things-I guess time will tell. All I can do is keep working hard and things will fall as they are supposed to.
GREATEST INFLUENCE My mother who passed away in 2006 from breast cancer. She never ever gave up despite being a nurse and knowing physically what was happening to her body. Keeping her with me makes me able to overcome anything in life and keep me very disciplined and never taking anything for granted.
HANGING OUT Of course the gym is an interest of mine, because I'm in there just about every day. The gym is my getaway from everyday life. Fitness and health has allowed me to meet so many great people who share the same passion as me which is truly a blessing. Aside from the gym, I enjoy just hanging out with friends on the weekends and traveling, experiencing new places and things.
BE YOURSELF I would describe myself as humble yet confident, discliplined, determined, ambitious, optimistic, faithful, and easygoing, but never a follower. I believe if you let what other's do influence your decisions, you have nothing left of yourself. Thank you for your time in reading this interview!
