Edward: Welcome to Connex247 family Brandon. It´s really nice to have you with us. What are your personal and professional interests?
Brandon: Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to share with you a little bit about me for your readers. I come from a small city outside of Vancouver Canada. All my life I have wanted to be happy with myself and what I do, doing whatever it is to the best of my ability. Helping others and inspiring many remains a purpose for my life.
As a young man thinking about what I want to do with life I have contemplated pursuing many interests. It is my long term goal to entertain and move people and change lives in profound ways. The medium in which I believe I have been called to do this is film. I want to create and direct my own films and to have a production company eventually producing my own films.
Edward: How did you decide to become a model? What do you think about modeling world?
Brandon: A while back a co-worker of mine said to me that I had a square jaw, the look of a model. I didnt think much of it at first. He kept saying it to me. I thought to myself well I work out and keep in shape just like many models. So I took it upon myself to take a stab at it and here I am. Modeling is a wonderful way to make money and get to travel; to meet people and network is also one of the benefits.

Edward: Tell us about some of your modeling assignments. Which fashion designers you would like to work for and why?
Brandon: Given that I am new to the modeling profession, I dont have an extensive list of modeling assignments. That said, however, there are three I will speak of. Since I enjoy location shooting so much more than in-studio I had great experiences in the waters of Miami Beach and in the hills of Malibu. Additionally, I had the opportunity to model for Viva Glam Fashion cares in Toronto. The whole fashion runway experience is so much fun. I hope there are much more of all this in the future.
I really believe that I can make a career in fashion. I want to work with as many designers as I can and build my book with an array of looks. Although I can hardly swallow spending as much as is needed to buy from many designers at this stage in my life I realize that it is necessary to look the part of being a fashion model. I would relish the opportunity to work with companies like Versace, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. Their reputations can really help boost a models professional level to the stratosphere. With names like those on my resume, I would be part of an elite group that can say they have reached a level of success few models see.

Edward: How do you rate beauty and elegance in your life? Do you think these atributes really help a person to be well succeded a career?
Brandon: I dont rate beauty and elegance in my life just for the sake of looking like a model. I think factors such as character and self confidence are far more important. One cant be truly beautiful on the outside until they are filled with it on the inside. You cant use a façade to cover insecurities or self-doubts. They eventually show. Only when these inhibitions are overcome do I believe that anyone can be truly beautiful and therefore have success in this industry.
Edward: Are u a fashion guy? What do u like to wear when u are not working as a model?
Brandon: Up until recently I wasnt a fashion sort of guy. I thought I was a fitness model and only that. I dressed like it. When I started thinking about other types of modeling open to me I became more conscious of how I looked. As to what I wear, it varies according to where I am. If I am out with friends or going to be seen my many people I will usually be in casual dress clothes. Something that says to others, yea, he definitely looks the part.
Edward: What are the great influences on your life?
Brandon: I am very open to new experiences and influences that will form and shape my life in great ways. My faith has been the greatest influence on me one which has kept me out of bad situations. It has given me a solid set of morals in which to live my life by. Pop-culture, as with almost everyone, has had a profound impact on me. I am heavily influenced by music, film and fashion. I do believe it is important to only let myself be influenced by things which build me into a better person and make me more knowledgeable.
Edward: Friendship, love and human rights. Do you think we now live in a better world concerning these issues?
Brandon: I am far from being an opinionated person but I believe that there are some human rights that should exist and some that shouldnt. However, at the end of the day its fair to say that whatever they are, they should exist if they make society better off as a whole. Not everyone will always agree but I think choice is best suited when it does more good than harm. Diplomacy has given us more choices and shouldnt be taken for granted. So be thankful.
Edward: If you could choose 5 most important things for your life
Brandon: Limits, too many of them. Well, I would start by saying live healthy. I only have one chance at life and I want to live as long as possible. An important aspect of my life is to find a career I will enjoy regardless of its pay at first. I know that when I like something I will work hard to develop skill and competence. I will eventually become so good at it that my reputation will take me to places I never thought were possible.
Of importance in being a successful person is surrounding myself with positive thinkers and other successful people. Also, networking and being friendly can put you in contact with people who can really help you out. Lastly, having the confidence to do anything I want is key. The saying goes whether you think you can do it or not, youre probably right.
Edward: Brandon, thanks so much for sharing your story with us. Now, tell to fashion designers, managers, photographers why u are the best option for the next fashion campaign
Brandon: When asked of what industry professionals want in a model for their next campaign, I think to myself, What do they look for in a model? To start with, I have a lot of drive. I have paid my way to attend competitions and scouting events, meet agents and test shoot for my portfolio. In addition I have cut back on a well paying job, all for the purpose of breaking into this industry. I am someone who wont stop until I get what I want.
I think that other qualities that differentiate me from the rest revolve around my personality, open-mindedness and respect for those I work with. In any career, those who happy and mesh well with others, remain impartial and respect those around them are the ones that others want to keep working with. This is who I am. I am also someone who is very professional and well prepared. This industry demands a lot from models and I take my work very seriously. Lastly, a key asset of any model and one which I have is the ability to portray many looks. I am fortunate enough that my physique will allow me to work a variety of modeling themes suited to different campaigns.
