Edward:  Hey hey Brandon, welcome to Connex 247 family!

Brandon:  I was born and raised in sunny Southern California in the land of beaches and babes.  I'm from Santa Monica where it's the place to be if you can handle life in the fast lane.

My background is Mexican on both sides and French on my mother's side, quite a combination.  I hope to travel one day to both countries where my roots are.  I'm really close to my family enjoy spending time with them.

I am young, ambitious and determined to make something out of myself.  I am self-motivated, have a zest for life but am also very family-oriented and know who I am and where I came from.

Edward:  How did you get discovered for modeling  

Brandon:  I started out my career entering bodybuilding competitions where I placed 1st and 2nd.  I decided to try my hand at modeling and signed onto Model Mayhem which is where I have made a lot of my contacts.  My first test shoot was with a very well-respected photographer, Adam Bouska.  It was a great experience and he is a fantastic photographer.

My modeling experience has given me the opportunity to travel and meet some great people, in particular, Tim Ricks of http://www.timricksphotography.com, who has really started my modeling career, given me great advice, shot awesome images that get better and better every time we shoot, and is not just a photographer, but a trusted friend.

Edward:  What is your greatest inspiration, your greatest professional dream as a model?

Brandon:  One of my goals in life at this time is to get signed with a top agency.  I'm striving towards a successful career as a underwear/fashion model.

My aspiriation is to get signed by Ford, Wilhemina, Click, LA Models, Next or any other prestigious agency and walk the runways of LA, New York and Europe (traveling would definately be a bonus).  I would love to work for Calvin Klein or D & G because they are the elite underwear companies - it would truly be an honor.

Edward:  Are you a guy into sports? What's your secret to be in a great shape?

Brandon:  My interests are football & basketball, which I played competitively in high school.  However, bodybuilding is my first true love, as you can see from my images.  I maintain my physique by working out religiously and spending countless hours each week in the gym.  Consistency, nutrition and dedication are the key factors to sculpting a body to be proud of.

Edward:   We currently live in a body-conscious society where people have a strong desire to be in good shape. How important is physical appearance toward a successful career?

Brandon:   In this profession, I think it's a combination of appearance, style, personality, intelligence and persistence.  You have to know how to take rejection and keep striving towards your goal.  If you believe in yourself, you can overcome any obstacle.

Edward:  Quick questions that readers would like to know about you.

Brandon:
Eating: Fish or meat?
  Definitely meat, love the flavor (prime rib).
Vacation: Beach or the mountains?
  Beach, sunshine and bikinis - a winning combo.
Fashion campaign: clothed or underwear?
  Underwear all the way, my main focus.
Movies: Action film or romantic ones?
  Without a doubt, I'm a man of action.
Dating: Ask or get asked?
  Doesn't matter, whatever comes naturally.
Place to make love: at home, in the middle of a crowd, in a party or on a paradisiac island?
  A gentleman never tells.
Sports: Group or individual ones?
  Even though I'm a good team player, I prefer individual as I'm better able to control the outcome.
Music: Rock, classical, R&B, Hip HOP...?
  I listen to all types of music but I'm into Hip Hop (remember, I'm from LA).  When I'm working out, I like to mix it up with mostly classic rock and hardcore with some rap thrown in.
Way of travel: by train, plane, ship or bike?
  Plane, its the fastest way to get to my destination.
Best season: spring, summer, autumm or winter:
  I'm from Cali, gotta be summer hanging out at the beach.
Politics: republican or democrats?
  Democrat, no questions asked.
An unforgetable moment:
  Taking first place at my first INBA Bodybuilding Competition.

Edward:  Do you have any special dream? If you could choose 5 most important thing for you life

Brandon:  One of my dreams is to become so successful that I would be able to financially support my parents so they could take an early retirement and travel the world.

The 5 most important things would be:  family, success, health, financial independence, and one day in the distant future, finding my soulmate.

Edward:  Are you an optimistic person?

Brandon:   I believe I am an optimistic person because I can see the good in people.  I like to surround myself with positive people who have goals and dreams just like I do.

Nowadays, l think life in general and world issues are definitely more challenging.  We need a strong leader to help us take control of our environment and make our planet safe and healthy for future generations.

Brandon:  I just turned 19 which gives me a good head-start and advantage over all.  I'm focused, determined, professional and have a great attitude.  I'm open to new experiences and travels and enjoy meeting people from all walks of life.   I believe in myself and think I have what it takes to become a successful model.  My motto is "Go big or go home."
