Edward: Andrei, welcome back to Connex family! Well, it..s been quite a long time since the last time we talked, so, for the new Connex generation of readers and for your fans too, give us some updates on your career.

Hey it’s good to see you again and it definitely feels good to be back in the “spot lights” here on your site. Since the last time we've spoken a lot of good and exciting things have happened. I must say i did a lot more traveling then i used to and also met new and interesting people.

AndreiThe last photo shootings I went to, helped me a lot with my book. I might say it added a little more “color” and I am pretty sure that as time will go by I will be improving my career substantially, within my own limits, of course

Edward:  You´ve created your new blog huh? Well, tell us about it. How, when and why u have decided to create a blog?

Andrei: Yes I did create a new blog in which I invested a lot of time and energy, but it was worth it. It all started with the thought of promoting my image via Internet. So I took the initiative and began with an official website where I am presenting my work, mostly based on uploading pictures from my photo shootings. Sometimes it’s very hard to get my hands on the pictures I shoot but when it’s a strong will involved there’s always a way.

The website address is www.andreiandrei.com . But having a website in my opinion it’s only a form of publicity, it doesn’t help you get in contact and also connect with fans so since we live in a modern world aka “Blogger Era” I created a blog where I write things about modeling life style, what usually goes on “behind the curtains” at fashion shows or photo shootings, places I travel, things I see, parties, people and so on..  www.versatileme.blogspot.com.

AndreiIn the future I plan to expand it into a more complex blog adding topics related to health, training tips, diets, make a long story short, all the things I’ve learnt and applied about a healthy mind and a healthy body.

Edward: And talking about fans. What do you think about them and how do you rate importance to fan clubs around the world?

Andrei: Well first I want to take this opportunity you’ve given me to thank from the bottom of my heart to my friends for their support and for their appreciation regarding my work as a model. I don’t want to use the word “fan” because I don’t consider them fans but friends. I would like to get the chance to meet with each and any one of them but I’m fully aware that is a little hard at the moment so, unfortunately, a platonic friendship will do just fine, for now. I want to tell them that I really respect them for being next to me with a kind word, for encouraging me, making my life easier, because you know in my line of work being appreciated means everything.

Andrei

I have to work hard to be a model for myself and for others also and I’m trying to raise my standards as high as possible for them for them to be proud of me. I gotta tell you It’s a very nice feeling when people show you how much they like you because it makes me realize that all my work and my efforts warren’t in vain.

Regarding fan clubs I think it’s a very good idea because of what I mentioned earlier. It makes people feel good about their hard work, makes them feel appreciated. To be honest I have some fan clubs myself and I was surprised in a very good way and also impressed. I will do my best not to disappoint them.

Andrei

Edward:  I´m sure you might have some unusual/funny backstage stories.. Share some of them with us

Andrei: Oh yeah, I am having a lot of fun but you know as much as I can afford IT.  I can’t push it because some people don’t have the same sense of humor like I do (hahaha). Anyway, there is this one funny story that I remember now. I was at a photo shooting along with one good friend of mine, Cristina.

AndreiWe had to look at each other, face to face and I’m telling you, we tried but we just could’t stop laughing. And we laughed and laughed and also tried again and then again for half an hour with no good results. So the photographer got irritated and he put us in separate corners for almost half an hour in order to calm us down. The best part is that as we were joking around other 5 models were waiting for us to stop laughing, do our jobs and let them do their job too

Edward: Fashion Model, runway model, print model....how do you face this whole modeling media, the paparazzi, fans,

Andrei: What can I say, this is an easy one just because I haven’t reached that high level yet that involves media fuss and paparazzi. But I’m working on it though and I will get there in no time (hahaha). As a matter of fact starting now I’m planning to take my career to the next level. Going to “invade” the true high fashion world and work with the “Fathers of fashion”. Wish me luck!.

As to modeling being a glamour world, it depends on how you are as a person, how you look at it and how good it does to you being in the center of attention. I am dealing pretty good with it, must also add that I like to be in the center of attention and that is a quality that every good model has to have.  And also a little dose of narcissism (hahaha). So yes I do think modeling is a glamour world for me.
