MOVING AROUND
I was born in Grand Forks North Dakota. But didn't stay long enough to remember anything. My Father was in the military and we moved around quite a bit.
My early childhood I spent in Illinois. From about fifth grade on I lived in Niceville, Florida. And yes, it is a very "nice" place.
AQUAMAN IN SMALLVILLE
I fell into the entertainment business sort of by chance. As opportunities grew for me I just started seizing them, sort of thinking, "ummm, ok, let's see what happens!" So far it's worked pretty well for me I would say. Aquaman was interesting because it was one of the first big jobs I had when I moved to LA. It opened a lot of doors for me, and being exposed to an established cast and crew like that one helped me learn and grow very quickly.
FIRST TEST WAS CRAZY
I never said growing up "I want to be a model." I think that is a ridiculous aspiration. For me it was a chance to get out of town and see the world. I get bored so easily and the opportunity for ever changing jobs and locations was intriguing. Even in meeting Ron Girard, the director of Next Miami, my first agency; before signing he asked me why I want to do this. I didn't know what to say besides it's a stepping stone to something more.
My first test was crazy. It was like every bad movie plot I'd ever seen. The photographer took me to the beach and said get in the water. I was like uhhh should I take my clothes off? Fair question since it was mid day and about a million people were laying about the beach watching.
She said strip! So I, this nervous boy from Niceville, strips down to the whitey tighteys in front of the whole world. She proceeded to shout directions like: "Jump in the water, now walk towards me like you're sexy, now crawl through the sand, CRAWL, now roll in the sand, BE SEXY YEAHHH." It was all very normal to me...
EXTREME BOOT CAMP
Jeans and T-shirt kind of guy, all the way. I work like crazy. Don't have a lot of free time. I own a business in West Hollywood called Extreme Boot Camp. When I'm not trying to grow that, I spend my time with the acting, or modeling, or with the wifey. One thing I absolutely love and I am so addicted to is the age old game of chess. If I have a free moment, that is what I am doing with it.

Thank you so much. It's exciting to be a part of something like this. This is a new company, growing in leaps and bounds because they are putting a new spin on an old product. That is such a hard thing to do these days because we live in a world that sometimes feels like everything has been done already.
HUMBLED BY FAME
I feel so humbled any time someone approaches me to let me know they appreciate what I do. I know better than anyone I am just your normal every day human being. So it's always a little funny to me that anyone recognizes me when I'm out.
When that does happen though, I always seem to lose my cool. I get all anxious and sweaty. I don't know why. I guess I don't do well with unexpected attention.
MORE EXERCISE THAN SPORTS
I'm more into exercise than sports at this point in my life. If the sport helps solve that, then all the better. I've played just about every sport there is.
What I really like is staying active. That's why I decided to buy the Extreme Boot Camp West Hollywood Franchise. It allows me to help others achieve that same goal of living healthy active lifestyles, and it keeps me active too!
WHAT'S REALLY IMPORTANT
- Jesus Christ
- My wife
- My work (meaning anything I set my mind to do, really.)
- My friends
- Trying to decide which to have first, a dog, or a kid.

FINAL PROJECTS
Just finished a very funny movie called Spring Break '83. It's sort of a modern day revenge of the nerds. I played one of the main Jocks. I wore a mullet. Enough said.
I also just signed on to another big comedy that will be out around 2010 called Fired Up. I will probably skip the mullet in that one.
