Photographer Jorge Freire describes doing shoot with Adrian:
Adrian is amazing. Looking at him you may feel intimidated to even share a glance but once he opens his mouth he is all heart. Definitely one of the nicest and sweetest models I've shot to date. We shot these pictures on a Saturday morning, in front of a garage door parallel to a main street.
He parked his car close and popped in some music to motivate him during the shoot. The music was so loud it seemed like we were having a block party. Here I was in little Havana shooting this big muscle guy in extra small undies, combat boots and shades.
Adrian was doing his thing. He danced, flexed, gave me all sorts of attitude and within minutes brought the character in these pictures to life. All the while cars were passing by honking ... people staring. I thought we were going to cause an accident. The whole experience was so positive and so much fun.
ADRIAN TOOK TIME TO TELL US HIS STORY!
Michael: Tell us a bit about yourself..
Adrian: Well, I was born in the beautiful island of Cuba. I reside in Miami, which I have called my home for the past 12 years. I am 24 years old, a psychology graduate from Florida International University.
Michael: Give us some of the highlights of your career so far as a a model...
Adrian: Well modeling is not my main venue; I have always done it as a hobby or as a side thing. I started when a photographer took a couple of shots and submitted them to a local magazine and they decided to put me on the cover. My first cover ever was hotspots back in 2005. After that first cover on the hotspots many others followed like The 411 Magazine, The Buzz, Gay Key West, and New York at Night.
Michael: Share your personal and professional goals.
Adrian: Personally I look forward to being and feeling complete, emotionally and financially. Someday I dream of being a Doctor in Psychology and having my own practice.
Michael: You are in great shape.. How do you do it. What is the secret?
Adrian: LOL
I'll keep it a secret, but the main thing is to use your gym membership at least 5 times a week.
Michael: What inspires you to do your very best?
Adrian: Myself, I want to take me to places beyond my own expectations, go further than my own expectations. My drive and my spirit.
Michael: Who have been the great influences on your life.. how and why
Adrian: In every way, my mother. Shes given me all no exceptions.
Michael: Tell us about some of your interests.. sports, hobbies etc
Adrian: I am a workout freak, I really enjoy a day of doing nothing, sleeping, cooking and my dog, a beautiful Chinese shar-pei, he is my baby.
Michael: How would you describe yourself as a person
Adrian: Witty, smart, funny, flirtatious, ambitious, and charismatic.

And shares his thoughts on achieving the perfect picture!
As an artist I constantly challenge myself.
That being the case I never let myself get too comfortable with compliments and keep myself grounded.
But sometimes ... I look at my own work and wonder if that was really produced by little old me.
It is those few moments that motivate me. It is such a feeling of accomplishment that I wouldn't be able to put it into words.
